Cliché Cost Calculation

What is Flexo Cliché?
In our production, we use flexo clichés, which are specialized printing plates for flexographic printing. Each color in your design requires a separate cliché. Flexo printing is ideal for printing on packaging materials like kraft paper bags because it delivers high-quality results on various surfaces. Flexo plate is a flexible printing plate used in flexographic printing machines.
In this printing method, the raised areas on the plate hold the ink and transfer it directly to the printing surface.
The plate is made of rubber or photopolymer material and is commonly used for printing on packaging materials, labels, bags, boxes, and similar surfaces.
Features of Flexo Plate:
Flexible Structure: The plate is made from flexible material, making it suitable for printing on uneven or curved surfaces.
Raised Areas: The printing areas on the plate are raised, allowing them to pick up ink and transfer it to the surface.
Photopolymer or Rubber: Plates are made from photopolymer or rubber due to their durability and flexibility.
Photopolymer plates are preferred for fine details and high-quality prints.
Ink Control: Flexographic printing can use water-based or solvent-based inks, making it environmentally friendly.
Applications of Flexo Plate:
Packaging industry (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, paper bags)
Food packaging
Labels and stickers
Printing on various materials like aluminum foil, nylon, cardboard
Production of Flexo Plate:
Digital File Preparation: A suitable digital file for printing is prepared.
Plate Creation: This digital file is exposed onto a photopolymer or rubber plate using lasers or UV light.
Chemical Washing: The exposed plate goes through a chemical wash to reveal the design.
Drying and Hardening: The plate is dried and hardened to increase durability.
Mounting: The plate is attached to the printing machine, ready for production.
Flexo plates are favored for their efficiency in fast and large-volume printing.
