Cement sacks are typically made with two layers of kraft paper. This provides both durability and basic protection during transport and storage.
The outer surface of the bag can be either brown kraft or white kraft. When white kraft is chosen, inner layers must be reinforced. For instance, a 50 kg bag made with white kraft should use a 70+90+90 g/m² layering structure.
For 25 kg filling, the average sizes are 35x50x10 cm or 40x50x10 cm. These measurements can vary depending on additives and density of the cement inside.
Bags designed to hold 50 kg of material typically measure around 50x60x10 cm. At least three layers of 70 g or two layers of 90 g kraft paper are required for this weight.
HDPE (polyethylene) lining is not necessary for standard cement packaging. However, if the contents differ from cement and are sensitive to moisture, HDPE layers must be included inside the bag.
In packaging construction chemicals, moisture isolation is crucial. HDPE film is always used as an inner layer. The most common structure is kraft + HDPE + kraft. Alternatively, kraft + kraft + kraft laminated bags are used, where HDPE is laminated to the innermost kraft layer and comes in direct contact with the product.
Popular bag sizes for chemicals are 33x45x10 cm, 35x45x10 cm, 35x50x10 cm, and 35x55x10 cm. These typically carry between 20–25 kg of material.
Kraft paper is usually sufficient for dry food products. However, for oily or moist food items, HDPE lining or a laminated inner surface is essential. Most food clients prefer open-mouth bags, and all specifications such as size and structure are tailored to customer demands.
Minimum production quantity per product type (size or print): 10,000 units.
Lead time: 4–5 weeks.
