Design File Submission Requirements
For optimal results, we require that all design files be submitted in vector format. Vector graphics offer high scalability, allowing designs to maintain sharpness and clarity at any size. This is essential for creating precise, print-ready artwork that aligns with our production capabilities. Here are some recommended software options for creating vector designs:
- CorelDraw: Known for its flexibility in creating logos, illustrations, and layouts.
- Adobe Illustrator: The industry-standard tool for complex vector graphics and scalable designs.
- Inkscape: A free, open-source option for creating and editing vector graphics in various formats.
Technical Specifications
Before starting your design, please request the technical specifications for the bag style you wish to create. For example, multiwall paper bags allow for up to eight colors on the body print, while the bottom sealing area supports up to two colors. Adhering to these guidelines will ensure the best possible printing outcome.
All design files should be submitted as Vector PDFs. Our team will review them for technical alignment, adjusting them to fit our printing area. Please note, however, that the content accuracy within the design, including text and other details, is the client's responsibility. Once your design is ready for printing, we’ll send you a final version for approval, and we require written consent before production.
Why Use Vector Graphics?
Vector graphics are a powerful design choice because they rely on mathematical equations, not individual pixels, making them ideal for creating high-quality, scalable images. Here’s why they’re beneficial for your packaging design:
- Scalability: Vector images can be resized to any dimension without losing quality, making them perfect for logos and illustrations.
- Efficiency: Vector files are often smaller in size, making them easier to store and share.
- Flexible Editing: Each element in a vector graphic can be edited individually, providing greater control over the final look.
Common uses for vector graphics include logo design, digital and print illustrations, textile printing, and web icons.
